DStreet Bolsters Issues Management Team with Addition of Herling in New York City Office

Former Communications Executive from HarperCollins Publishers, Barnes & Noble, Inc., and The Body Shop, Inc. Joins Award-Wining DStreet Team

DENVER – August 29, 2014 – DStreet, an award-winning public relations and communications agency, has added Lisa Herling to its team of counselors. Herling, a former senior communications executive for organizations including HarperCollins Publishers, Barnes & Noble, Inc., and The Body Shop, Inc., will work on assignment from DStreet’s New York City location.

DStreet has developed proprietary approaches to issues management programs that have helped organizations move from dated crisis plans to nimble management of issues in a socially-driven and connected world. “One of DStreet’s strengths is its issues management and crisis communications practice,” says agency president and owner, Jennifer Dulles. “Lisa’s depth of experience counseling CEOs and C-level executives on reputation management makes her an excellent addition to our team.”

Herling also served as the Senior Vice President of Communications for Cengage Learning and worked with Edelman as a consultant on The Masdar Initiative in Abu Dhabi, a $15B investment in renewable/alternative energy.
